Positional-Statement

Positional-Statement is a succinct definition of exactly what your business offers. It is targeted at your ideal customers and distinguishes you from the competition.

Your task in this worksheet is to craft a position statement you can communicate to potential customers in about two minutes. 

  1. Build the raw materials for your position statement by answering the following questions:

    •  Who are you? (Include your business name if you’ve already selected one.)

  2. Next, consolidate the raw materials for your position statement into a short paragraph or two. Read the statement aloud to yourself and others to ensure that it makes sense. Revise this until you feel you have a good working position statement.
